Our mission is to develop and maintain quality parks, including natural wooded areas, to provide recreation facilities and programs for people of all ages, to plan future requirements and activities to serve the year round recreational needs and interests of the community.

Our vision is to meet and exceed all of the recreation needs of the inhabitants of New Haven, Adams Township and the surrounding communities, resulting in well being, better health and increased life satisfaction.

How we deliver on those statements...

The staff of New Haven-Adams Twp. work tirelessly to provide quality programming for people of all ages. We are always trying to grow and improve the type and quality of programming in New Haven. We are always here to listen to taxpayers, our customers, for new ideas, suggestions and improvements. We care for and maintain 17 park properties in New Haven and Adams Twp. These areas hopefully include something for everyone to enjoy- nature areas and a nature center, pools, playgrounds, trails, ball diamonds and so more!

New Haven - Adams Twp. Parks & Recreation isn’t just a department, it is an entity that encompasses the heart of how the New Haven Community plays.  In fact, the Parks and Recreation Department is celebrating over 50 years of serving the community.  Over the past years the department has seen many changes and has experienced great growth- not only in the New Haven population, but also in park land and assets to the community.  There are many parks in New Haven that offer a variety of resources and programs. These opportunities enrich the quaility of life for residents in the community.
