| Located at 427 Broadway St. in downtown New Haven, Indiana, this quaint pocket park adds asthetic appeal to the area with a gazebo, flowers, benches and a historic plaque telling of the importance the historic Canal played in the development of New Haven. Canal landing, as it was named for this historic significance, is approximately 1/3 of an acre. The land was purchased in 1999 and the parking lot that existed was demolished and a park planned. This park adds eye appeal to the downtown business district and is a popular place for a lunch break. |
