Strength & Stretch in the Park

Relax, empower, and renew your mind, body and spirit. Greet the day in beautiful Schnelker Park with a variety of invigorating strengthening exercises and gentle stretches for the whole body. Low intensity, moderate, and high intensity modifications will be presented so you can work at your individual fitness level. Keeping the body flexible and strong increases weight loss, agility, mobility and well-being. It also reduces aches and pains in the body and prevents muscle loss and injury. Meet in Schnelker Park pavilion. *Bring a mat or towel. Class will run rain or shine! *Wellness, nutrition, and fitness handouts will be distributed in class so you can practice living your best life every day! Min/Max: 8/18

Nature is My Playground

Do you ever get bored of your same old exercise routine? "Nature is my playground" allows you to enjoy the outdoors, incorporate cross training* and interval training exercise* into your wellness regimen, use your own creativity and have fun! You will explore a variety of cardiovascular and strengthening exercises and learn different ways you can utilize playground equipment. Exercise is most effective and enjoyable when you are having fun, so let's get moving! Low intensity, moderate and high intensity modifications will be presented so you can work at your individual fitness level. *Cross training and interval training maximize the effectiveness of your workout. Assist Fit

Are you looking for a modified fitness class? This class provides some standing exercises with a chair for stability. The instructor will use weights, resistance bands and balls to increase strength, flexibility, and range of motion. This class is an intermediate class between chair fit and senior fit. Classes are drop in - no pre-registration necessary.

Res/NR Fees: $2 drop-in

 
Stroller Fitness

Bring the strollers and the kids and let's get a great workout! Resistance training, lunges, cardio and much more all with sun and fun! It's time for play with kids and great outdoor action. Min/Max: 7/18

Pick 2 Combo

Sign up for any two of our fitness classes that meet one time a week and are either $18/$20 Res/NR classes and get a specialized workout tailored just for you at a discounted price! Please indicate Pick 2 Combo when you register and indicate the two programs you will be participating in. Unfortunately, this discounted combo price is not available via credit card online.
