Ride the Dixie
If a relaxing riverboat ride on Lake Webster on a hot summer afternoon in July sounds right up your alley, this is the trip for you! Join the New Haven Parks and Recreation Department and RIDE THE DIXIE! The Dixie Riverboat is Indiana’s oldest stern wheeler at 84 years old this year. It is also a part of history and is registered with the National Registry of Historic Places. The boat is equipped with restrooms and concessions. The boat ride lasts approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. After you RIDE THE DIXIE, enjoy an air conditioned buffet lunch at Maria’s, “Just Good Food”. The delicious home style buffet consists of fried chicken, ribs, roast beef, ham, roasted potatoes, vegetables, soup, salad, and an ice cream sundae to top it all off! Once lunch is finished, stroll through specialty and antique shops at Heart of the Lakes Antique Mall before heading home. Min/Max: 25/35
