Volunteer Opportunities Volunteer Nature Center Attendants get to experience the biological diversity of our area while sharing their appreciation for such wonders with others. New Haven Bird Hikes Join a Naturalist for a look at the local birds of our area and explore our natural areas at the same time. Hikes meet at the Moser Park Nature Center at 9:00am; we will caravan to a location close by or leave on foot. Hikes will last approximately one hour. Basics will be covered from how to use binoculars and field guides to identifying birds by sight and sound; more advanced birders will be able to lend their expertise and hopefully check some species off their lists!
