| The New Haven Parks and Recreation Dept. provides senior citizens with a variety of activities. Trips, carry-in lunches, exercise classes, cards and more are planned. Senior Carry in Lunches Seniors are invited to the Park Center at 11:30am on the third Wednesday of every month. Several local restaurants take turns providing the main part of the meal; the Park and Recreation Department furnish the drink and the smiles. We ask each person to bring a dish to share for up to 30 people and their own table service. After lunch you can play euchre, bridge, or bingo. For those wishing to play bingo, we ask that you bring a wrapped white elephant gift for prizes. Mark your calendars now and join us for the fun! Seniors…Here’s the Deal! We invite card playing seniors to drop into the Park Center every Wednesday at Noon. We’ll provide the coffee and the tables; you bring a friend and come for a good time. Tables and groups are established and play weekly. Popular card games are Euchre and Bridge, other games are welcome. If interested in participating in our fun and free card club, call the office at (260)749-2212 for more information!
Wii Bowling Seniors, you are invited to join us Tuesday afternoons at 1:00pm to play the Wii bowling! Not sure how? Come anyway and we’ll show you! It is so much fun and anyone can participate. Join us even if you are curious and want to learn more. It’s a fun free way to get active or stay active this season! Bring a friend and stay for a great time!
Breakfast and Bingo Seniors, do you love to play bingo? Does the thrill of the win keep you coming back for more? Join us the second Thursday of the month beginning January 10th at the Park Center. Heritage Park staff has generously sponsored this activity. Come early to have your cholesterol checked! Stay for doughnuts and then BINGO games from 9:00-10:00am. Dates: 2nd Thursday of the month Time: 9:00-10:00am Location: Park Center, Small Room Cost: Free
