Our recreation sheds are open this summer at Jury, Schnelker, Meadowbrook, Havenhurst and Klotz Parks to provide games, crafts, recreational activities and LOTS of FUN! Again this year we will have event days that will have specific themes in addition to our other recreational playground programs. See below for some of the events and check with each specific park for even more fun! Please note: recreation sheds are staffed during certain times only.

THEME DAYS AT THE CRAFT SHED

Free Bead Monday: Join us at one of the five parks as we host Free Bead Monday through the summer beginning June 4th and ending August 3rd. Make a craft of your choice with some of our beads. Check with the specific park for times and details.

Game Day Tuesday: Join us at one of the five parks as we host Game Day Tuesday each Tuesday through the summer beginning June 5th and ending July 31st. Game types will vary from park to park and week to week. Check with the specific park for times and details.

Wet Wednesday: Wet 'n Wild is the name of this game! Join us every Wednesday where water games will be the highlight of the day!!

Nature Day (Thursday): Join us at one of the five parks as we host Nature Day each Thursday through the summer beginning June 7th and ending August 2nd. Activities will vary from park to park and week to week. Check with the specific park for times and details.

Fear Factor Friday: You've seen the show - now play the game! We'll have some activities that might be a little scary! Come and test your resolve Friday's through the summer beginning June 8th and ending August 3rd.

Come and join our staff for a story in Schnelker Park and then stick around afterwards for a free craft. Craft and story will be geared toward youth ages 4-8 years old.

Come and join our staff for art in the park - a week of experimenting with various art mediums. Then we'll display our work for our own "kid sized" art show on Friday! Join us for the fun!

Hear ye! Hear ye! Young knights are invited to join other noble knights for a feast of root beer floats and cookies. We will have a medieval tournament with jousting noodles. Come let your little one be a knight at our table. Min/Max: 4/10
